07:57

Hosted by That Artsy Reader GirlThis week is about books we did not finish.

I admit that sometimes I do tend to leave books halfway through reading them and then regret it sometime later. So I have decided to share the books that I DNF but may go back to at a later date. Enjoy!

1) The Queen's Rising by Rebecca Ross

2) This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada

3) Little Liar by Julia Gray

4) Twelve Nights by Andrew Zurcher

5) Fallen by Laury Falter

6) The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon

7) Red Rising by Pierce Brown

8) Autumn Rose by Abigail Gibbs

9) Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige

10) Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

  1. I read The Bone Season when it first came out and didn't enjoy it so much, but I reread it this year and thought it was amazing! I'm a total mood reader so my reading and enjoyment depends on my mood.

  3. I haven't read any of these, but, like you, sometimes I'll start a book and not be in the right mood for it. I usually try and come back to those at a different time. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday.

  4. Oh I actually enjoyed The Bone Season, but it is definitely a slow starter and takes a while to get to the good stuff.

  5. I haven't actually heard of a lot of these but the ones I have, I definitely can see why you might return to a few in the future. Sometimes, it's just not our time for specific reads. I feel the same way about The Bone Season; it's been on my TBR list for a long time after I picked it up, read a couple of pages and decided to save it for another time.

  6. I've been really interested in reading The Queen's Rising, but for some reason I haven't gotten around to it. I've not read any of these books, but the cover for Twelve Nights is so fun! Nice list!
