Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

This week is a freebie week so, I have decided to share my top ten badass female characters in YA and Children's Fiction. I have been wanting to do this list for such a long time so I'm glad I am finally getting around to it.

Who are your favourite female characters in YA? Let me know down in the comments.

1) Hermione Granger - Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling

2) Matilda - Matilda by Roald Dahl

3) Tracy Beaker - The Story of Tracy Beaker by Jacqueline Wilson

4) Alina Starkov - The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

5) Amani Al'Hiza - The Rebel of the Sands Trilogy by Alwyn Hamilton

6) Katniss Everdeen - The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

7) Lexi Volkov - Clean by Juno Dawson

8) Zélie Adebol - Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

    1. Great minds think alike ;) Thank you! We must have great taste!

  2. Ooh totally agree with Hermione, Katniss, and Matilda. I used to read Jacqueline Wilson when I was younger, but I don't know if I ever read this one...

  3. Love your topic choice!! Hermoine and Matilda will always be 2 of my very fave protagonists.

  4. I don't read a whole lot of YA (I get enough YA angst with my kids, thanks, hahaha) but I do love the Harry Potter series. Ron was always my favorite but I married an obnoxious redhead so maybe I'm biased? I also loved Four/Tobias from Divergent.

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!

  5. So many great girls on this list!
    My TTT:

  6. Naomi from The Final Six and also Hermione from HP, and I also liked Bella in the beginning of Twilight!!
