Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Have Been On My TBR the Longest and I Still Haven’t Read

08:06

Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is about books that have been on our TBR list the longest.

I am guilty of having a very long TBR list that dates back to 2015 I believe. Not good I know! Doing this list may help me actually get myself into gear to read some of these books below.

What books have been on your TBR the longest?

1) 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson

2) Legend by Marie Lu

3) Geekerella by Ashley Poston

4) The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

5) The Manifesto On How To Be Interesting by Holly Bourne

6) Ready Player One By Ernest Cline

7) The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting

8) How to Build a Girl by Caitlin Moran

9) Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige

10) Wilde Like Me by Louise Pentland

  2. Your TBR only dates back to 2015?! You should feel proud of that, not guilty! Mine's been piling up very rapidly since 2012, but I still have books from when I was a child (mostly classics and the ends of series) that have been on my shelves for what feels like my entire life.

Out of all of the books on your list, I've only read two of them. I highly recommend giving Ready Player One a go - especially with the movie coming out this year! - but Stealing Snow is skippable.

  4. Legend! I love that series and it started my obsession with Marie Lu and her writing. I also really enjoyed The Raven Boys but I need to reread it sometime because I have yet to finish the series.

  5. If you ever get to Ready Player One, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I'm not much of a fan of sci-fy, but I really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie this spring.

  7. I`m ashamed to say that I have not read The Raven Boys yet. I was disappointed with "All The Crooked Saints", but I did enjoy her writing. Good luck with your reading!
