Hosted by The Book DateIt's Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly meme where you share what you have recently read, what you are currently reading and what is up next on your TBR list.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. I am back in the swing of blogging/reading now and it feels so good! I've got some good reads to share with you all this week. So read on...

Read Last Week

I read two books again this week. I seem to be making a habit of it!

Traitor to the Throne is the second book in The Rebel of the Sands Trilogy and I enjoyed it a lot better than the first one. It had action, it had shocks and it was a lot more lively. I found myself engaging with the characters a lot more in this one too. I am really looking forward to reading Hero at the Fall.

Discovering new authors is something I love and when Emily Williams sent me an e-arc of her latest book Rafferty Lincoln Loves.. I knew I wanted to read it. It's a coming of age YA novel and it pulled at my heartstrings several times. I cannot wait to read what she writes next. Review coming shortly.

Currently Reading

I'm reading Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda in preparation for when the film is released. I'm only 50 pages in but it certainly has that contemporary YA feel that I adore. I have a feeling this is going to be a good one.

Up Next

Scythe is the book my YA book club are reading for our March meeting. I've heard good things about this one. I've also heard that its very dark and I am definitely in the mood for a book like this. Watch this space!

What are you all reading this week? Let me know!

  2. I just finished Simons vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Over all I liked it except for the weird grammar choice to call it "The Tumblr." Come see what I'm reading this week.
