February Wrap Up

So, February went by quickly didn't it? 2018 is flying by already and we are only coming into March!

I am going to be doing a monthly wrap up each month from now on. I missed a January wrap up but that was only because I had such a busy month that month. I think wrap ups are important as I can look back and see what reading I got done and look forward to the next month.

There is one difference though, I will not be writing TBR lists. I have decided to scrap them all together and instead I'm going with the 'books I want to read in...'. I have found that TBR lists don't work with me as I usually change my mind throughout the month.

February Reads

Traitor to the Throne is the second book in The Rebel of the Sands trilogy and I enjoyed it a lot more than the first book. It was more action packed and exciting and I found myself becoming so invested in the story. I cannot wait to read Hero at the Fall.

Rafferty Lincoln Loves... was a surprising gem of a book. I received a review copy from the author and without this I would have never dreamt of reading it. It's a coming of age YA novel that will tear at your heartstrings believe me. Feel free to read my full review.

In anticipation for the film I decided to read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda. I loved the message behind the book and it's always great to see LGBT representation in YA Fiction. It was such a feel good heartwarming read and I am very much looking forward to the film.

Scythe... well lets just say I have found a new series to fangirl over. Everything about this book was pure genius. I didn't want to put it down..seriously! I am itching to read the sequel Thunderhead.

Colliding Skies was a book that I wouldn't normally read, but, I gave it a chance and was rather surprised. It had an interesting premise and I really enjoyed the depth of the story. Granted, the romance wasn't too great but that didn't deter from the overall plot.

Books I want to read in March

1) Big Bones by Laura Dockrill (ARC)

2) The Queens Rising by Rebecca Ross (ARC)

3) Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (Personal)

4) Ready to Fall by Marcella Pixley (ARC)

5) Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi (ARC)

6) Clean by Juno Dawson (ARC)

That is a wrap! I hope you all have a brilliant March and please do let me know what you are planning to read this month.
