It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #6

Hosted by The Book DateIt's Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly meme where you share what you have recently read, what you are currently reading and what is up next on your TBR list.

Happy Monday all! Hope you had a wonderful week last week and are ready to take on this new one! I am loving reading at the moment and don't want it to change yet.

Read Last Week

Rafferty Lincoln Loves... was a book that I went into feeling quite skeptical about. It didn't seem like my typical YA read. However, I was surprised and actually loved it! Yes, it is about a horse and some teens who find it but it goes a lot deeper than that. It's a heartwrenching coming of age story that you should all read. Review is here.

I wanted to read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda in anticipation for the upcoming film and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the message behind it and it's always great to see LGBT representation in YA fiction. It's a real feel good easy read. It's also made me more excited for the film.

Currently Reading

I'm currently reading Scythe and so far I'm finding it really interesting. It has a concept which is totally unique and I'm looking forward to reading more and sharing my thoughts.

Up Next

I've heard so many good things about Colliding Skies and I really can't wait to read it! I am trying to get into more sci-fi so this is perfect!

  1. Colliding Skies does look good. Seems like I've been reading a fair amount of YA science fiction lately after years of almost nothing in that genre. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

    1. Any reason? I know it’s not going to be as good as the book but I’ll still give it a watch :)
