It's Monday! What Are You Reading? #21

Hosted by The Book DateIt's Monday! What Are You Reading? Is a weekly meme where you share what you have recently read, what you are currently reading and what is up next on your TBR list.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great reading week last week. I managed to get a lot of reading done last week for the first time in ages and it felt really good. I'm only 10 books away from completing my Goodreads reading challenge of 50 books in 2017 so thats a plus.

As always leave comments to your Monday posts so I can check them out.

Read Last Week

I read three books last week. I know! For me thats a shock but I had a lot of spare time to get reading done.

Kiss Kiss was lets just say rather disturbing. All of the stories within it had a creepy quality to them that put me at some unease. Perfect for this time of year though. I'll be discussing this book at adult book club tonight and I do have a bit to say about it.

I'd been waiting five years for a new John Green novel so as soon as I got my copy of Turtles All The Way Down I started reading straight away. It's your typical John Green novel and although there are some flaws I found it to be a really great read. My review of it is here.

Undercover Princess was really magical and I loved the setting of it. There were a few problems with the plot and with characters but it was a quick read that transported me into a land of princesses and fairytales. Review will be up on Thursday.

Currently Reading

Currently I am in the mood for some chick lit and Beyond Believing is just that. I'm reading it as part of a blog tour and so far it seems like your typical chick lit. Short, sweet and easy to read.

Up Next

Some more chick lit! I am a big lover of Christmas and I do usually start my Christmas reading very early. I was really excited when I got sent this e-arc as I love Caroline Robert's work. Plus its about a chocolate shop. I have a feeling I'm going to get very hungry when reading this.
